M-am înscris în câteva forumuri în speranta de a da de astrologi care au experienta în a studia acest tip de fenomen si care sa fie 
capabili de a ne ajuta un pic în delimitarea unui interval de risc.... Pentru moment nu am obtinut mare lucru, însa va redau ce am. In masura în care am sa primesc si alte mesaje am sa le adaug aici, am sa reactualizez data ca sa fie vizibil în meniu.
In masura în care contactati pe cineva si obtineti ceva puteti sa redati aici la opinii mesajul ca sa fie util si celorlalti care încearca sa analizeze situatia. Nu voi lasa însa decat mesajele care au surse.

" I am fairly sure that there will be a big disaster of SOME sort or more than one, SOMEWHERE in the world, in 2010, due to Jupiter/Uranus square Pluto opposite Saturn. The last time a similar configuration occurred, involving the outer planets except Neptune, was in 1931, when Jupiter/Pluto opposed Saturn and squared Uranus. That was the very worst year of the Depre$$ion and came more than a year after the October 1929 Wall $treet cra$h and after it looked as if there might have been an economic recovery in 1930. I would say that 2009 is like 1930 in this respect.
And besides a worsened Depre$$ion, there will almost certainly be natural disasters in 2010 and a resurgence in sunspot activity. As a precedent, under similar astrological aspects to those that will occur in 2010, on 3 February 1931 at about 10 a.m. there occurred a magnitude 8 earthquake in New Zealand that largely destroyed the cities of Napier and Hastings and several nearby towns, killing 256 people (at a time when the area had a fairly low population).

Yes, this is certainly an challenging scenario, did the psychic give any more details, 
or suggest a time of year? How well known or regarded is this person?
I'm sure you're aware that there are many psychic visions that fail to materialize, one always wonders what 'time' past, present or future are being intuited.
As to the methods to study this, I can think of three and hope others might give more direction. This is not something I 'specialize' in but have followed the discussions here on PA of other natural events with interest, and there is much in our message archives that might help you.
1. Studying the cardinal ingresses of the Sun is very informative, this is by casting a 'location specific' horoscope for each cardinal ingress of the Sun into Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
2. Visit www.weathersage.com, and read about Carolyn Egan's work. She has instruction on cd available. This would especially give instruction for studying the lunar cycles, eclipses, and declinations for a particular area that would identify stressful times for a particular region.
3. An earthquake of such magnitude would most likely affect the charts of other agencies, localities, people in your area, and so I would recommend researching additional charts to analyse for the possibility of this event.
I've been tied up with some household projects, sorry for taking so long to respond. Fortunately there will be time to take a better look at this.

" There's a lot of interesting information on using astrology to predict earthquakes. I've worked with some of it and often found success. Eclipses which take place on or near the nadir or IC or the transit of that point by a malefic (Mars, Saturn, or the invisibles - Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) are often indications of earthquakes. The magnitude of the quake is generally
shown by the brightness of the fixed stars involved. Dim ones say 3rd to 6th magnitude might be a minor tremor or a light quake but brighter stars give more intense quakes.
If you like I can collect my references. Traditional astrologers consider earthquake prediction part of weather prediction mostly because they involve the same house - the 4th, and it has connections with mines and underground things as well as weather and some other things.
Check the charts for a few known quakes and look at eclipses within a couple of weeks on either side of the quake date and when malefics transit the IC, square it or oppose it. Sometimes earthquakes are a little more subtle but this is the known signature and you can verify it and get a feel for it by looking at a few charts. Most astrological software includes a small database of earthquake charts. Try a few and see if you could have predicted the event. You may also want to look at Ingress charts for the seasons.

Chapter III: Astrology and earthquakes 
By decreasing order of importance, we find;
- House XII: Ruling the internal forces of Earth, and being the house of ordeals;
- House IV: The underground, the ground structure under the city, (building foundations also), but also means the END of things.
- House VI: Representing the health and accidents of the world, and being the result of XII: damage, landscape modifcations, a.s.o.,
- House VIII at least, because it means deep changes (of the underground), but also linked to casualties.
The cusp of XII in Earth signs (in the moon phase chart) may indicate seismic activity, especially if house XII is occupied by “violent” planets (Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus) and/or rulers of other seismic houses(VI, IV, VIII). The ruler of XII in other seismic houses will increase the risk, as it does in angular houses (I, IV, VII, X), and in the last case the magnitude will be greater. (these indicators or “risk factors” are easy to check also…).
The same analysis has to be made for houses IV and VIII.
Aspects are to be taken into account for planets linked to seismic houses (both harmonic and disharmonic aspects are effective, the last increasing casualties and damages).
We can try to determine the precise moment for the EQ by checking exact aspects during the current moon phase. When aspects (and also declination parallels or anti parallels) involving risk factors and seismic houses are becoming exacts, the EQ is more likely to occur.
1.4 Chapter IV: The meaning of planets in EQ astrology
The nature of the planets linked to seismic houses will give indications about the kind of earthquake, its violence, and so on…
Sun is mainly found in vertical EQ, when the ground moves up. Moreover, EQ are more frequent and more violent when solar activity (sun spots) is high (any idea about where to find tabulated data about solar activity for a long period ?).
Moon indicates that the EQ will occur near water (harbors, lakes, seaside, …).
Mercury , closely linked to Pluto, means that tectonic plates will move. When moving past the Sun disc, it may cause big EQ (in particular when solar activity is high). Mercury is also involved when there is a lot of small earth tremors.
Venus plays a small role in EQ, except when passing the Sun disc.
Mars in very active in violent and sudden EQ, especially horizontal ones.
Jupiter is by far the most dangerous planet, increasing dramatically the effects of a seism. Also involved in EQ causing damage in a very large area, and in deep EQ.
Saturn, on the opposite, means limitation and stability, so it is not prominent in EQ activation. Saturn and Pluto are in relation with magma, and are important in volcanic activity. Saturn may precise the location of EQ in hilly regions, or in mountains.
Uranus if a main cause in sudden, short (a few seconds) and deadly EQ. Also appears in uncommon seismic activity.
Neptune has no clear role in triggering EQ, but indicates a location in deep sea, possibly with tsunamis. Involved in the caving-in, collapse or flooding of areas.
Pluto is efficient only when in VIII or ruler of VIII, and then we can expect a lot of casualties.
Most of the time, two planets are necessary to move tectonic plates: Mars (strength) with Mercury (direction); Mercury (motion) with Sun or Pluto (energy); Pluto with Saturn (effort). Strangely enough, these pairs rules signs in sextile (Mars-Aries with Mercury-Gemini; the last with Sun-Leo; Mercury-Virgo with Pluto-Scorpio, and the last with Saturn-Capricorn).
1.5 Chapter V: The role of aspects and signs
Aspects are important between “seismic pairs” such as Mars and Mercury, but we have to check also planets linked with seismic houses, especially when the ruler of XII makes aspects to the rulers of or planets in IV, VI or VIII.
Relationships between the following planets are to be checked:
Sun with Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto;
Mercury with Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto;
Mars with Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto;
Jupiter with Uranus and Pluto;
Uranus with Pluto;
The more risk factors we find in a moon phase chart, the more an EQ is likely to occur.

predicted by ingresses and transits on previous Grand Conjunction of
Jupiter and
Saturn.
One of the strongest earthquakes since

occurred off the west coast of Northern Sumatra, magnitude 9.1, on
